Dutch TV Host Emile Ratelband Missing in Thailand; Family Offers Reward for Leads

Key summary

The family of Dutch television host and former presenter Emile Ratelband, aged 77, has issued a public appeal after he went missing in Thailand. Phuket Times, a Facebook page with over 780,000 followers, posted the request on October 24, 2026 (24 ตุลาคม 2569). The family, who reside in Phuket, is offering a reward of 2,500 euros for information leading to his location. Ratelband, known globally for his attempts to legally reduce his age by 20 years, has not been in direct contact with his family for nearly two years. His children, Rolls and Minou, have traveled to Thailand separately but could not locate him. Occasional WhatsApp messages indicated he was ill and requested money, yet the lack of direct communication caused concern. Recent media reports suggest Thai authorities may have contacted Ratelband, though the family has not seen any related videos and remains worried. Minou Ratelband, his eldest daughter aged 49, provided contact details including an email address and a phone number (+31-655-803745) for verified leads.
