TOA Paint Thailand Launches 'Care for Wood Together' Campaign with Reforestation and School Renovation Activities

Key summary

TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a leader in wood finishing and eco-friendly construction materials, has launched its ongoing 'TOA Wood Expert: Care for Wood Together' campaign. The initiative operates under the concept that caring for wood at home equates to caring for forests in the wild, promoting sustainable resource use and environmental stewardship. Between October 19 and 20, 2026, TOA partnered with the Royal Project Foundation (under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit) and Chulalongkorn University to hold activities at Wat Don Chai School in Chiang Mai Province. The events included tree planting led by Dr. Thanapong Duangmanee, Director of Environmental Policy at the Royal Project Foundation, alongside TOA's Head of Marketing, Mr. Nopkhun Panjasomsuk. Participants emphasized that forests serve as vital sources of food, water, and livelihood for communities. The campaign encourages extending the lifespan of wooden products to reduce unnecessary consumption. Additionally, TOA collaborates on a carbon credit management project aimed at conserving and rehabilitating community forests covering 6,000 rai across 111 communities in five provinces: Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Tak, Yasothon, and Amnat Charoen. At the school event, TOA renovated kindergarten classrooms and a cafeteria to improve the learning environment. Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Education invited first- and second-year students to engage with local children, fostering creativity and self-discovery through hands-on experiences.
